Many Tiger Paws Make Light Work

Sometimes all things work together to make a perfect day. This day was one of those times. Bright and early Saturday morning we all gathered together. The little ones were so excited and the adults were all anticipating a day of hard work. Donations poured in for our bake sale table, from beautiful cakes to cookies and rice crispy treats. All the sudden wrinkles were ironed out- hoses, sprayers, flow of traffic, water hook ups, etc., etc., etc., as there are always last minute wrinkles. Then the party started! With water and suds everywhere it was the cleanest parking lot around! All the little Tigers and their siblings worked harder and longer than I've ever seen a bunch of kids work. To the joy of all, we even got to wash a yellow cab! Of course the parents pitched in....a little....(wink). After a full 3 and a half hours we shut down our operation, cleaned up, tallied up and discovered we had earned enough money to send all our Tiger Scouts to day camp, pay for registration and fund our program for the upcoming scout year. Many tiger paws really do make light work!

  1. Awesome, Gloria! What an accomplishment! Both the Tiger Cubs and the slide show on your blog! You even added music, now you've got to teach me that!
